Tickertape is a little different in this regard to other Elvin
applications in that it is not as content-based. An ideal notification
allows the routing infrastructure to be able to determine where it should
be sent, but Tickertape notifications are more or less free-form text
entered by humans. In fact, the group name is about the only thing that
can be used to reliably route (or block) on.

Given this, I think it is at least more reasonable to allow producers the
option to give routing (or at least scope) information in Tickertape than
in other Elvin applications. Having said that, I'm going to reserve my
decision on whether I think it's a good idea :-)
