Hi
I have been using various IM clients for 3/4 yrs now. Every new feature
of those clients still fascinates me. I recently started using our own
Tickertape ( eTix client). I found following features either missing in
client or not supported by Tickertape. I must admit that I still haven't
fully explored the tool. Or maybe some features are just not relevant to
the base theory.
Retrieve available Channel list
Subscription retrieval; majordomo style
Activity analysis of channels
Repository of responses (X asks questions, Y replies, Z starts
tickertape asks same question so on)
Repository of service clients ( weather, stock quotes etc )
Personalisation (based on service clients; personalise info messages)
Authorisation
Web-interface
Visualisation (IMvironment (yahoo term))
Email notification on tickertape
Ads support (for commercialisation)
Status based message control (no subscriber of 'Chat' channel is
currently online or available)
Multiple identities
Invite /remove subscription (moderator role for channels)
