Hi Daryl,

this is something I've been meaning to address but am not sure how.  
Avis implements only version 4.0 of the Elvin protocol (the only one  
published atm) and thus rejects requests specifying 4.1 (which  
Aquatik and the libelvin-based clients use by default). I could relax  
the check, but it would negate the value of specifying the version in  
the first place.

In the meantime, you can explicitly specify the protocol as 4.0 by  
using elvin:4.0//avis-host-name as the URL in Aquatik.
